Terms of Service
Last updated April 30, 2026
Please read these terms carefully before using TesterBee. By using the platform you agree to be bound by them.
1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the TesterBee mobile application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of Service
TesterBee is a platform that connects Android app developers with real testers to meet Google Play's Closed Testing requirement. We provide a marketplace where developers can purchase testing campaigns and testers can earn rewards by testing apps.
TesterBee does not guarantee Google Play approval, app store acceptance, or any specific testing outcome. We provide the platform and tester network — your app's approval depends on meeting Google's requirements and the quality of your application.
3. Eligibility & Account Requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country) to use TesterBee.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You may not create more than one account without prior written permission from TesterBee.
- You must have a valid Google Play Developer account in good standing to create developer campaigns.
4. Tester & Developer Responsibilities
For Testers:
- Complete daily check-ins honestly and submit accurate, timely feedback for assigned campaigns.
- Use your own genuine Android device — no emulators, virtual machines, or fake accounts.
- Do not use VPNs, device spoofing, or any method to misrepresent your device or location during any campaign.
- Maintain active engagement for the full campaign duration. We may use device, activity, and check-in verification tools to confirm campaign eligibility and prevent fraud.
- Do not contact testers or developers directly outside the TesterBee platform.
For Developers:
- Upload your app to the Google Play Closed Testing track and provide the correct opt-in link.
- Ensure your app complies with Google Play's Developer Program Policies.
- Do not submit apps containing malware, spyware, or any content that violates Google Play policies.
- You are responsible for the content and functionality of your app.
5. Coin System, Payments & Withdrawals
Coins
- TesterBee uses a virtual coin system. Coins have real monetary value and can be withdrawn.
- Coin exchange rates and minimum withdrawal thresholds are posted on the platform and may be updated with notice.
- Testers earn coins by completing assigned testing tasks and meeting quality criteria.
Developer Payments
- Developers pay for testing campaigns by purchasing coins or packages. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- Campaign fees are charged upfront before testers are assigned.
Refunds
- All coin purchases are final.
- Unused campaign coins may be refunded within 14 days if the campaign has not started.
- No refunds for campaigns already in progress or completed.
6. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on TesterBee:
- Using bots, scripts, emulators, or automated tools to simulate testing activity.
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating another person.
- Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent feedback or bug reports.
- Circumventing or attempting to circumvent our fraud detection and verification systems.
- Publishing apps that contain malicious code or violate third-party intellectual property rights.
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or TesterBee staff.
- Using the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
7. Termination
TesterBee may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:
- You violate any provision of these Terms.
- Fraudulent or abusive behaviour is detected on your account.
- Your account remains inactive for an extended period.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any earned but unwithdrawn coins may be forfeited in cases of fraud or Terms violations. We may retain certain data as required for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or financial record-keeping.
8. Intellectual Property
TesterBee and its logo, design, and content are owned by TesterBee. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of your app, feedback, and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant TesterBee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content solely for operating and improving the Service.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
TesterBee is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
TesterBee is not responsible for Google Play's review decisions, policy changes, or any delays in the app review process.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TesterBee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
